Referrals

The quality of our matching has been highlighted by Ofsted, and this, together with the excellent support we can offer to foster carers, has led to very stable placements for children.  Our placement team knows every one of our carers personally, their experience and their strengths.  When a referral is made, we can therefore respond quickly to the request.  However, if we feel that we cannot meet the needs of the child properly and well, we prefer not to take the referral.  Looked after children have often had so much disruption in their lives, that an unsuccessful placement is the last thing they need.
