Full Time Supervising Social Worker
Hythe House Support is an established Independent Fostering Agency based in Sittingbourne, Kent. We are looking for a full time Supervising Social Worker to work in our small team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Registered Manager and be capable of establishing good relationships with carers. You will need to have a working understanding of childcare practice and safeguarding procedures as well as being a strong team player able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have a relevant professional qualification in Social Work as well as experience of foster care practice within either an IFA or Local Authority Fostering Team.
Main Responsibilities:
» Carry a caseload of Foster Carers.
» Attending and recording meetings.
» Undertaking out of hours on a rota basis.
Criteria:
» Degree in Social Work/DipSW/CQSW.
» Social Work England registered.
» Full driving licence.
Salary: £30,000-£36,000, plus a generous holiday entitlement. A healthcare and pension package are available upon successful completion of probationary period.
The successful applicant will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS and Social Work England check.
